How do I avoid the tube splitting?
As the tube is made of a metal alloy, it is important to squeeze the tube very carefully and always from the bottom (crimp end) upwards.
This is particularly important when starting to use a new tube. If the excess air in the tube is expelled by squeezing the tube in the middle or at the top, this causes the sides of the tube to “kink” resulting in the side of the tube splitting. It is also important not to roll or fold the tube as this may also cause the sides to split.
Why is there excess air in the Optimmune tube?
Our Optimmune product is supplied in a 10g tube, however there is only 3.5g of the Optimmune product supplied in this tube.
When starting to use a new tube, it is important to expel the excess air in the tube by squeezing the tube at the crimp end.
Further information is available from the SPC, Datasheet or package leaflet.
