What does Nobivac Tricat Trio protect against?
Active immunisation of cats:
- To reduce the clinical signs caused by infection with feline calicivirus (FCV) and feline herpes virus type 1 (FHV)
- To prevent the clinical signs, leucopenia and virus excretion caused by infection with feline panleucopenia virus (FPLV)

What is the onset of immunity for Nobivac Tricat Trio?
The onset of immunity for as demonstrated by challenge is 4 weeks for feline calicivirus and feline herpesvirus and 3 weeks for feline panleucopaenia virus.

What is the duration of immunity for Nobivac Tricat Trio?
The minimum duration fo immunity has been deternined to be 1 year for feline calicivirus and herpesvirus and 3 years for feline panleucopaenia virus.

Can Nobivac Tricat Trio be used in pregnancy?
Do not use during pregnancy or lactation, as the product has not been tested in pregnant or lactating queens. Live FPL virus can cause reproductive problems in pregnant queens and birth defects in the progeny.
We do not hold specific data regarding use during lactation and therefore cannot recommend this use during this period.

What are the storage requirements for Nobivac Tricat Trio?
Nobivac Tricat Trio requires storage in a refrigerator between 2oC and 8oC. Protect from light.

Are there any breed specific contraindications for Nobivac Tricat Trio?
There are no breed specific contraindications for Nobivac Tricat Trio.

Can Nobivac Tricat Trio be mixed with other Nobivac vaccines?
The SPC and Datasheet for Nobivac Tricat Trio reads as follows:
‘No information is available on the safety and efficacy of this vaccine when used with any other veterinary medicinal product. A decision to use this vaccine before or after any other veterinary medicinal product therefore needs to be made on a case by case basis.’

Can Nobivac Tricat Trio be administered with Nobivac FeLV?
The Nobivac Tricat Trio SPC and datasheet do not include mention of Nobivac FeLV on, however combined use of Nobivac Tricat Trio and Nobivac FeLV is described on the Nobivac FeLV SPC and datasheet:
“Safety and efficacy data are available which demonstrate that this vaccine can be mixed and administered with cat vaccines of the Nobivac range containing feline calicivirus (F9 strain), feline rhinotracheitis virus (G2620A strain) and/or feline panleucopenia virus (MW-1 or Bristol strain).”

What is the interval for Nobivac Tricat Trio in the primary course?
Two single dose inoculations, 3-4 weeks apart. The first inoculation can be given from the age of 8-9 weeks and the second inoculation from the age of 12 weeks.

What is the revaccination protocol for Nobivac Tricat Trio?
A single dose (1 ml) according to the following schedule:
- Revaccination against feline calicivirus and feline herpesvirus type 1 must be given every year (with vaccines containing the F9 and G2620 strains, where available)
- Revaccination against feline panleucopenia virus can be given every three years (with strain MW-1 as in Nobivac Tricat Trio, where available)
