What is the minimal dose for vaccinations?
The vaccine is formulated on the basis of a minimum immunising dose, not a dose per body weight. Therefore the full vaccine dose/reconstituted amount is the minimal immunising dose.

What are the storage requirements for Nobivac vaccines?
In order for the product shelf-life to be as it is stated on the product's datasheet it should be stored as per the datasheet's storage requirements. This will always be our recommendation for product use.
Short term minor deviations above the ideal range, such as those that are greater than 8 oC but less than 25 oC for less than 24 hours, can occur in practice. These can occur, for example, when opening the vaccine fridge, or moving product within the practice.
In situations where the product has been stored correctly, subject to the short-term minor deviations (as defined above), the product should be used as soon as possible and not kept to the end of its shelf-life.
Temperature deviations below the ideal range, such as the product being frozen, can occur if the product has been allowed to be in direct contact with the back of the fridge, or if the fridge is running too cold.
In situations where the product has been frozen, exposed to temperatures above 25 oC or where longer temperature deviations totalling longer than 24 hours have occurred, it may be possible to give more advice based on the specific product batch and storage conditions via our Product Quality department. In such circumstances we would need to know the product name(s), quantities and batch numbers.
In the case of any doubt it would be advisable to contact the Technical Product Support team before discarding any product.
In the event where it is advisable to discard product it may be possible to claim on the practice's insurance. Our Technical Product Support team can write a letter of support for insurance claims, pertaining to deviations in storage conditions, should you require it.
Further information is available from the SPC, Datasheet or package leaflet.
