What is the minimal dose for vaccinations?
The full vaccine dose/reconstituted amount is the minimal immunising dose. The vaccine is formulated on the basis of a minimum immunising dose, not a dose per weight. Therefore, for efficacy that supports the datasheet for each product the amount as per the datasheet is required.

What are the storage requirements for Nobivac vaccines?
On label storage advice should be adhered to, to ensure that the product shelf-life can be guaranteed, as this is determined storing the product in ideal conditions as per datasheet. This will always be our only recommendation for product use.
We are aware that short term, minor temperature deviations (greater than +8°C but less than +25°C, for no longer than 24 hours) above the ideal range may occur in practice (e.g. from opening the vaccine fridge or moving the product within the practice).
If the product has been stored correctly subject to short-term minor deviations (as defined above) it should be used as soon as possible and not kept to the end of the shelf-life.
In the situation where longer (totalling >24 hours) temperature deviations have occurred, or product has been frozen or exposed to temperatures above +25°C it may be possible to give more advice based on the specific product batch and storage conditions via our quality department. In such circumstances we would need to know the product name(s), quantities and batch numbers.
In the case of any doubt it would be advisable to discard product and where possible claim on insurance. Our Technical Product Support team can write a letter of support for insurance claims pertaining to deviations in storage conditions of our products, should you require it.
Further information is available from the SPC, Datasheet or package leaflet.
