What does Equilis Prequenza Te provide protection against?
Equilis Prequenza Te is for the active immunisation of horses from 6 months of age against:
- Equine influenza to reduce clinical signs and virus excretion after infection
- Tetanus to prevent mortality

What is the protocol for Equilis Prequenza Te?
From 6 months of age administer the first injection of Equilis Prequenza Te, followed by a second injection 4 weeks later.
Influenza: The first revaccination (third dose) of Equilis Prequenza is administered 5 months after the second injection.
Tetanus: The first revaccination of Equilis Te is given not later than 17 months after the second injection.
All injections should be administered by intramuscular injection.

Can Equilis Prequenza Te be given with other Equilis vaccines?
Concurrent use of Equilis Prequenza Te and Tetanus Antitoxin Behring® from MSD Animal Health UK Ltd may reduce active immunity against tetanus compared to horses vaccinated with Equilis Prequenza Te in the absence of tetanus antitoxin serum.

Equilis® Prequenza Te contains equine influenza virus strains: A/equine-2/South Africa/4/03, A/equine-2/Newmarket/2/93 and Tetanus toxoid. POM-V.
