Engemycin is an injectable antibiotic solution containing oxytetracycline; effective against a broad spectrum of susceptible Gram-positive and Gram-negative micro-organisms.

Indications for use
For the treatment of infections caused by organisms sensitive to oxytetracycline.
In vitro, oxytetracycline is active against a range of both Gram-positive and Gram-negative microorganisms including: Streptococcus spp., Staphylococcus spp., Listeria monocytogenes, Mannheimia haemolytica, Haemophilus parahaemolyticus and Bordetella bronchiseptica, and against Chlamydophila abortus (formerly Chlamydia psittaci), the causative organism of enzootic abortion in sheep.
- Cattle - milk 6 days (144 hours), meat 21-35 days (see datasheet)
- Sheep - meat 14 days
- Pigs - meat 10-14 days (see datasheet)
250 ml amber PET or amber glass type II multi-dose vials closed with a light grey or red-brown halogenated butyl rubber stopper with an aluminium overseal.
