Depocillin® 300 mg/ml Suspension for injection
Depocillin is an injectable antibiotic containing procaine benzylpenicillin; a beta-lactam antibiotic which has bactericidal activity against mainly Gram-positive bacteria and some Gram-negative aerobes.

Active ingredients
Procaine benzylpenicillin 300 mg/ml
Target species
Cattle, horses, sheep, pigs, dogs, and cats
Indications for use
For the treatment of infections caused by bacteria sensitive to penicillin.
Withdrawal periods
Cattle:
Meat and offal: 5 days for the treatment duration 3–5 days, 7 days for the treatment duration 6–7 days
Milk: 264 hours (11 days)
Pigs:
Meat and offal: 5 days for the treatment duration 3–5 days, 7 days for the treatment duration 6–7 days
Sheep:
Meat and offal: 5 days for the treatment duration 3–5 days, 7 days for the treatment duration 6–7 days
Milk: Not authorised for use in animals producing milk for human consumption.
Horses:
Meat and offal: Not to be used in horses intended for human consumption. Treated horses may never be slaughtered for human consumption. The horse must have been declared as not intended for human consumption under national horse passport legislation.
