Resflor® 300/16.5 mg/ml Solution for Injection for Cattle
Resflor is an injectable solution for the treatment of bovine respiratory disease. It contains Florfenicol; a synthetic broad spectrum antibiotic effective against most Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria isolated from domestic animals. Florfenicol is considered to be a bacteriostatic agent, but in vitro studies of florfenicol demonstrate bactericidal activity against Mannheimia haemolytica, Pasteurella multocida and Histophilus somni. It also contains Flunixin. This is a potent, non-steroidal, non-narcotic analgesic with anti-inflammatory, anti-endotoxic and anti-pyretic activities.
