What does Equilis Prequenza provide protection against?
Equilis Prequenza is for the active immunisation of horses from 6 months of age against equine influenza to:
- Reduce clinical signs
- Reduce virus excretion after infection

What is the protocol for Equilis Prequenza?
From 6 months of age administer the first injection of Equilis Prequenza, followed by a second injection 4 weeks later.
The first revaccination (third dose) of Equilis Prequenza is administered 5 months after the second injection.
All injections should be administered by intramuscular injection.

Can Equilis Prequenza be used in foals younger than 6 months of age?
In case of increased infection risk or insufficient colostrum intake, an additional initial injection can be given at the age of 4 months followed by the full vaccination programme as outlined above, starting at 6 months.

Can Equilis Prequenza be given with other Equilis vaccines?
No information is available on the safety and efficacy of this vaccine when used with any other veterinary medicinal product. A decision to use this vaccine before or after any other veterinary medicinal product therefore needs to be made on a case by case basis.
