Resflor is an injectable solution for the treatment of bovine respiratory disease. It contains Florfenicol; a synthetic broad spectrum antibiotic effective against most Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria isolated from domestic animals. Florfenicol is considered to be a bacteriostatic agent, but in vitro studies of florfenicol demonstrate bactericidal activity against M. haemolytica, P. multocida and H. somni. It also contains Flunixin. This is a potent, non-steroidal, non-narcotic analgesic with anti-inflammatory, anti-endotoxic and anti-pyretic activities.
Clear, light yellow to straw coloured solution for injection.
Per ml: Florfenicol 300 mg and flunixin (as flunixin meglumine) 16.5 mg
