Planate® 87.5 micrograms/ml solution for injection
Planate is a synthetic prostaglandin and when administered to pigs during the luteal phase, it results in the lysis of the corpus luteum. This product can be used with the other MSD Animal Health reproduction management products to maximise breeding herd reproductive performance.
Presentation
Planate is a clear colourless solution, practically free from particles.
Active ingredients
Per ml:
Cloprostenol 87.5 micrograms (equivalent to 92 micrograms cloprostenol sodium).
Target species
Pigs (sows and gilts)
Indications for use
Induction of farrowing one or two days before the estimated date of parturition.
Withdrawal periods
Meat and offal: 1 day.

Carton box containing 1 vial containing 20 ml solution for injection.
