Bovilis® IBR Marker inac suspension for injection for cattle
Infectious bovine rhinotracheitis (IBR) is a highly contagious infectious respiratory disease of cattle caused by bovine herpes virus-1 (BHV-1). Bovilis IBR Marker inac is an inactivated vaccine containing bovine herpesvirus type 1 to reduce clinical signs and viral shedding.
Presentation
Suspension for injection. Pink turbid suspension.
Active ingredients
Each dose of 2 ml contains: Inactivated bovine herpesvirus type 1 (BHV-1) strain GK/D (gE¯)*: 60 ELISA units**
* gE¯: glycoprotein E negative
** inducing 6.1 - 11.1 log2 virus neutralising units in mouse potency test

Indications for use
For active immunisation of cattle to reduce the intensity and duration of clinical signs (pyrexia) induced by an infection with BHV-1 as well as to reduce the replication and nasal excretion of the field virus.

Packaging
Supplied as hydrolytic glass type I (PhEur) or polyethylene-terephthalate (PET) vials with 5, 10, 25, 50 or 100 doses closed with a rubber stopper and sealed with an aluminium cap. Presentations: Cardboard boxes with 1 or 10 vials. Not all pack sizes may be marketed.
