Always follow your vet's advice

Demonstration may be helpful
Ask your veterinary practice for a demonstration of the correct method of applying the eye ointment.
Spare pair of hands
The first few times you apply the ointment, it may be useful to have a spare pair of hands to steady your dog's head.
Stick to a routine
Stick to a routine - this will help you to remember to apply your dog's treatment regularly.
Don't run out
Don't run out of your dog's treatment - remember to contact your vet before you finish your current tube.
Don't stop the treatment
Don't stop treatment unless told to do so by your vet, even if the eyes start to look better. In the majority of cases, Dry Eye will need life long treatment.
Regular check ups
Regular check-ups with your vet are an important part of your dog's treatment.
